DOBRE APLIKACJE ALIAKSANDR KANTAYEU ("we," "us," or "our") operates mobile applications including Bottm and Yardwise. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our applications ("Apps").
We are the data controller responsible for your personal data. Our contact details are provided in Section 13 below. We do not have a Data Protection Officer as it is not required for our scale of operations, but you can contact us directly with any privacy-related inquiries.
2. Data We Collect
Our Apps may collect the following categories of data, as disclosed on the Apple App Store:
Data Used to Track You
- Identifiers — Device identifiers used for advertising purposes by third-party ad networks. This data is only collected with your explicit permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. You can change your tracking preferences at any time in your device settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking).
Data Not Linked to You
- Device ID — Anonymous device identifier for analytics and crash reporting
- Purchase History — Information about in-app purchases for subscription management
- Product Interaction — How you interact with features to improve app experience
- Crash Data — Technical information about app crashes to identify and fix issues
- Advertising Data — Data related to ads displayed within the Apps
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on the following legal bases for processing your personal data:
- Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — To provide our Apps and their features, process subscriptions, and manage in-app purchases
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — To improve app performance and user experience, identify and fix crashes and technical issues, and analyze aggregate usage patterns for product development
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — To display personalized advertisements through third-party ad networks using device identifiers for tracking. This consent is obtained through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework and can be withdrawn at any time through your device settings
4. How We Use Your Data
We use collected data to:
- Provide and maintain our Apps and their features
- Process and manage subscriptions and in-app purchases
- Improve app performance and user experience
- Identify and fix technical issues and crashes
- Display relevant advertisements through third-party ad networks (with your consent)
- Analyze aggregate usage patterns to guide development
5. Third-Party Services
Our Apps use the following third-party services that may process your data. These services act as data processors or independent controllers as described below:
- Google AdMob — For displaying advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and advertising data to serve relevant ads. AdMob acts as an independent data controller for advertising data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store — For processing in-app purchases and subscriptions. Apple acts as an independent data controller for payment processing. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
We maintain appropriate data processing agreements with our service providers as required under GDPR Article 28 where applicable.
6. International Data Transfers
Some of our third-party service providers (such as Google) may process your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). When data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions, in accordance with GDPR Chapter V.
7. Audio and Image Data
Bottm processes audio recordings for transcription purposes. Audio data is processed on-device or through secure cloud-based AI services and is not stored on our servers after processing is complete.
Yardwise processes photographs for AI landscape design. Uploaded images are processed through secure AI services and are not permanently stored on our servers.
8. Children's Privacy
Our Apps are rated 4+ on the Apple App Store and are suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 years of age (in accordance with Polish data protection law implementing GDPR Article 8) or under 13 years of age (in accordance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
9. Data Retention
We retain collected data only for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Specifically:
- Crash data — Retained for up to 90 days for debugging purposes, then deleted or anonymized
- Analytics data — Retained in aggregate, non-identifiable form for up to 24 months for product improvement
- Subscription data — Retained for the duration of your subscription and up to 12 months thereafter to comply with legal and tax obligations
- Advertising identifiers — Retained only while you have granted tracking permission; deleted upon withdrawal of consent
10. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
11. Your Rights
Under the GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights:
- Right of access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure — Request deletion of your personal data
- Right to restrict processing — Request that we limit how we use your data
- Right to data portability — Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Right to object — Object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Right to withdraw consent — Where processing is based on consent (such as ad tracking), you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 13 below. We will respond to your request within one month as required by GDPR Article 12(3). In exceptional cases, this period may be extended by two further months, in which case we will inform you of the extension and the reasons for the delay.
You may also control ad tracking through your device settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on iOS).
If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. 12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance (for example, via in-app notification or by posting a prominent notice on our website). Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our Apps after any changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
